Hi, I'm Blondie, and I'm here to tell you that good things really do come to those who wait—especially if you've been waiting for a cat like me.

I'm what you might call a late bloomer.  I discovered my voice again. Now you might hear a tiny squeak when I'm feeling shy, or you might hear my full little meow demanding the attention I've learned I deserve. And trust me, I deserve a lot of it. My purr? It's louder than you'd expect from a petite lady like me, and I'll run it like a motor the moment you start petting me.

All I really want in this world is to be next to you. On the couch while you read. By your side while you work. Following you from room to room because why would I want to be anywhere else? I've become quite the greeter too—I'll meet you at the door like I've been waiting all day just for you (because I have).

I do get a little shy when I first meet someone new, but give me a minute and I'll show you who I really am: a girl who just wants to love and be loved. If you have another cat, even better! Once I warm up to them, I'll be their devoted best friend. But I'm also perfectly content being your one and only.

I'm not fancy or demanding. I'm spayed, litter box perfect, and I've kept all my claws. I'll play when the mood strikes, but honestly? I'm a champion napper. And food? I'm easy—though if you happen to have chicken, well, I won't say no.

I may be older, but I've got so much love left to give. All I need is someone who sees that I'm worth the wait.
