When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!
What we know: Seized / Custody/Stray to Espanola Humane in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her 8 puppies. Came with the name Pepita, spayed and UTD on vaccines.
From the foster: Pepita has the sweetest heart and a serious love for her people. She’s fully potty trained and sleeps through the night in her crate. While she may not rush into the crate on her own, she settles in just fine once she’s inside.
Pepita is a total people-dog who wants to be near her humans whenever possible. She’s very food motivated and eager to learn — she hasn’t mastered “sit” just yet, but she proudly stands for you every time! 😂
Pepita would do great in a home with another friendly dog who can help show her the ropes of how to “dog.” She’s learning and gaining confidence every day. She would do best in a home without cats.
If you’re looking for a loving, affectionate companion who will stick close by your side, Pepita might be your perfect match. Come meet her and help her find her furever home!
From the previous shelter: Meet Pepita, a 1.5-year-old Pit Bull mix with the sweetest heart and a love for people that shines through in everything she does. This lovely girl is gentle, affectionate, and always ready for some pets—she’ll happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give.
Pepita enjoys saying hi to everyone she meets and greets new friends with a wagging tail and a warm smile. Her friendly, easygoing nature makes her a joy to be around, whether she’s leaning in for scratches or just hanging out by your side.
If you’re searching for a loyal companion who’s full of love and eager to share it, Pepita might be the perfect addition to your family. She’s ready to find her forever home and give back endless affection.
