​Trixie didn’t have the easiest start in life. Found shivering and alone as a stray in a tough neighborhood, she was understandably frightened. She also sports a unique look—most of her tail is missing, likely from a past injury or a quirk of birth. But don’t let her "stubby" tail fool you; it just makes her even more special!
​Thanks to the patience and love of her foster family, Trixie has blossomed. While she is a little shy at first, she warms up quickly once she knows she’s safe. Once you earn her trust, you’ll find a playful, sweet girl who loves to zoom around and engage with her feline friends. She’s the perfect mix of a quiet observer and an active playmate.
Trixie is Spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated, negative for FeLV/FIV.

If current or past pets in the home, please contact your veterinary office that has seen your pets and allow them to release info to RLR.
Interview
A phone interview is completed after review of submitted application.

Should step 1 and 2 go well, meeting the animals you are interested in or any that we may recommend occurs.
Sign Adoption Contract
After meeting the pet, if you feel the pet is a good fit for you and we feel you are a good fit for the pet, an adoption may occur.
