My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ariel, a handsome leading man who did not come here to sit quietly in the background. This guy makes an entrance.

Ariel is friendly, curious, and fully convinced that meeting new people is one of life’s greatest hobbies. He’s the type to come right over to say hello, check you out for snacks, and make sure you understand the schedule: attention first, then whatever you were doing. He’s got that bright, social energy that makes a room feel instantly warmer, like your best friend who somehow gets along with everyone.

Whether he’s supervising your day, popping in for pets, or reminding you that your lap is, in fact, premium real estate, Ariel brings confidence and charm in equal measure. If you’re looking for a cat who’s ready to be part of the action and turn ordinary moments into hangouts, Ariel is your guy.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
