My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I found Cowboy cowering against the median of a freeway when he was just under two months old. He’s lived with us ever since to be socialized, neutered, and loved. He’s now a year and a half old.

Cowboy is talkative, playful, and knows exactly what he wants (and isn’t afraid to tell you). He loves eating cat grass, playing with his toys and puzzles, splashing water in the tub, and watching squirrels in the yard. As we’ve gotten to know him, we’ve learned he has Pica. He enjoys ingesting thin cotton blends like tshirts, socks, and bed linens. This prevents him from accessing less than half of our small apartment. My income can’t afford any medical expenses that might come with Pica.

We’re looking for a family (hopefully with other young cats!) who understands his Pica and can provide him running space, play partners, and plenty of enrichment to keep him full of love. He is currently on medication for his Pica, so he will need someone who is invested in his ongoing care.
