Bert: The Texas Gentleman Seeking Snuggles!
Howdy, partner! I’m Bert, and I’ve just arrived in Minnesota all the way from Texas. I’m told this fun white fluff is called snow—and thanks to my thick, warm coat, I’m staying cozy while I explore this winter wonderland!
I’m a simple guy with simple needs: I just want to be where the people (and dogs!) are. My favorite spot is an open one on the floor, ideally close enough to catch your eye and sneak in some affection. My foster mom says I’m a great snuggler when invited up for cuddle time, and I settle down easily once everyone else does—making me the perfect companion for a cozy night in.
I’m a good sleeper and stay quiet in my kennel all night long. I’m also doing most of my business outside now (my foster mom is very proud of that!), and I keep my nipping to a minimum. I thrive on positive attention and am always eager to show off my good manners.
I’m looking for a home where I can be a loyal companion and soak up all the love you have to give. I get along great with other dogs and humans alike—so if you’re searching for a gentle, affectionate Texas gentleman, I might just be your guy.
Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
