My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was found in a bucket along the road north of Kettle Falls with my two siblings and brought to safety. Despite my rough start, I am a friendly, affectionate cat who truly enjoys people. I love head rubs and giving head butts, and I have a great, soothing purr that comes out whenever I’m happy—which is often! When I was brought to CVAS I escaped my rescuer's car, but was found the next morning by CVAS kennel techs waiting for breakfast. I am super friendly!

I’m ready to leave my past behind and find a warm, loving fur-ever home.

Who We Are

The Colville Valley Animal Sanctuary is a largely volunteer organization dedicated to providing local humane society services, including adoptions, facilitating spay/neuter, and rescue and rehabilitation of abandoned, neglected, and otherwise homeless companion animals. Our goal is to place cats and dogs permanently in safe and loving homes. We spay and neuter all of the animals in our care and actively promote, through financial donations and community support, the effort to reduce the number of unwanted animals in northeast Washington State.
