Dog Name: Moose Tracks
Breed: Great Dane
Sex: Male
Age: 6-7 years old

Housebroken: Yes.
Crate trained: No. He is too large for the XL crate we have. He is very well behaved outside of the crate. He has not gotten into anything he wasn’t supposed to while out.
Good in the car: Yes. He loves to have his head out the window on car rides. He can have some difficulties getting into and out of larger vehicles with his hips. He sometimes needs help jumping up into larger vehicles.
Good on a leash: Yes. He is large and can pull a little bit. He does have some leash reactivity with other some dogs and may bark. He is a large dog and needs a strong person to hold his leash.
Energy level: Low - Medium. He is older but loves to play with his toys. He likes to go for walks.
Need a fenced in yard: No, but he would love one. He does fine on a lead in the yard or going out on the leash.
Dog Friendly: Yes with proper introductions. He can be reactive and bark at other dogs while on a leash. He absolutely loves his foster sisters and is very respectful of them being smaller than he is.
If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? It is recommended but not required. He can get lonely and would prefer to have someone at home with him.
Cat Friendly? No.
Kid Friendly: Yes. He loves kids and is respectful of that fact that he is so big.
If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? He has been around kids as young as 2. He did very well.
Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Moose has been an incredibly easy foster. He is fully potty trained, well mannered, and a giant goofball. He loves to follow his foster family around the house and gets so excited when they return after the work day. He likes to play with soft toys and have a soft bed to relax in. He is the most wonderful gentle giant. He draws attention in the best way and makes new friends on every outing. He will need an adjustment period in his new home. He gets very attached to his family and gets mopey if they are not around. He was a surrender due to no fault of his own and is looking for the perfect home full of love!
