My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dog Name: Johnny Knoxville

Breed: Terrier Mix

Sex: Male

Age: 3 years

Weight: 19lbs

Medical Needs: Tested positive for Ehrlichia (a tick born disease) and is currently on a 30 day cycle of doxycycline.

Housebroken: Johnny Knoxville is potty trained, but he does mark initially and wears a belly band during the transitional period.

Crate trained: Yes!

Good in the car: Yes. He enjoys looking out the window!

Good on a leash: Yes! He walks right with you with no pulling!

Energy level: He is laid back! Johnny loves cuddles and naps! He enjoys walks as well as exploring the outdoors! He may get excited with company but settles down after five minutes.

Need a fenced in yard: No. He is happy with walks and indoor play.

Dog Friendly: Yes! He gets along well with big and small dogs. Currently fostered with a 63lb lab pit mix, 5lb poodle mix, and 4lb Yorkie.

Cat Friendly? Unknown.

Kid Friendly: Yes! Johnny loves kids and is very playful and gentle!

If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Any age is alright with Johnny! He is currently being fostered with 3 kids (ages 11 to 15). Has been around grandkids ages 3 to 6! He does great!

Traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them?

Johnny Knoxville is very sweet and loves to play! He loves everyone and enjoys cuddles! He is content napping but always up for a leisurely stroll! He loves children! His hair is wire like that of a Jack Russell and he sports a curly mohawk most of the time.

He came to us with a history of not doing well with chickens, so cannot go to a home that has them or that has them on neighboring properties.

Fosters Location: Delmar, DE
