This helps Dallas Street Dog Advocates with pet care costs.
Meet Rudy
Professional cuddle enthusiast. Amateur cattle dog herder. Full-time heart throb!
Rudy was found all on his own in a rural area outside Kaufman, not far from where many of our rescue stories begin. He’s about 6 months old, 32 pounds, and is made up of equal parts love, joy, zoomies, and side-eye.
Loves other dogs
Loves cuddling
Loves hanging out and being included
Thinks small children might need herding
Believes cats are… suspicious
Because Rudy is an energetic, enthusiastic cattle dog, he’d do best in a home without young kids or cats, but with humans who appreciate a smart, playful pup who keeps life interesting!
Approved applicants get priority, so if you’re serious about adopting, we highly encourage submitting our online application ASAP at:
www.dsda.org/adopt
To meet Rudy in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.
ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care. All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!
* Adoption Fees:
Puppies (12 months and under) - $325
Dogs (over 12 months) - $275
Qualifications for Adoption: No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.
