My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Henrie is a big, bright-eyed explorer with a mind as quick as his paws. From the moment he notices movement, a jingling wand, fluttering feathers, or even a mysterious red laser dot, he is locked in, calculating his next lightning-fast pounce. Watching Henrie play is thrilling: he stalks, crouches, and launches with precision, whether the toy is dancing above his head or sneaking under a blanket.

This handsome guy is highly intelligent and curious, easily bored by ordinary toys but absolutely delighted by interactive play that challenges both his body and brain. Feather wands, fleece toys dusted with catnip, and especially games that involve hiding and hunting are right up his alley. He is energetic, intuitive, and would thrive with someone who enjoys spending time actively playing with their cat.

Food is another way to Henries heart: Chicken Churu and Greenies are instant hits, and once he’s had a good play session (and a tasty reward), he is happy to accept gentle head pets. While he enjoys affection, his biggest dream is having space to explore and discover beyond his kennel.

Henrie is a radiant lightning bolt of personality, energy, and life. He’s a sweet boy who would do best in a house, not an apartment, that understands his need for stimulation, playtime, and exploration. If you’re looking for a smart, playful companion who will keep you entertained and engaged, Henrie might just be your perfect match.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. All of our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, receive all age-appropriate vaccinations, and high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary. Please visit our website to see up to date open hours.
