My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spruce! 🐾🌲

Spruce is an adorable brown tabby boy with striking markings, bright curious eyes, and a heart overflowing with sweetness. This little guy is playful, affectionate, and full of kitten charm — the kind that makes you smile the moment he starts bouncing around the room.

He loves exploring new spaces, chasing toys, and wrestling with his siblings. When playtime winds down, Spruce is all about snuggles, soft purrs, and cozy naps curled up close. He’s the perfect mix of energetic and cuddly, making him a wonderful companion for any loving home.

If you’re searching for a sweet, fun, and lovable kitten to bring joy into your life, Spruce is ready to grow up with his forever family. 🌲🐾

More about this shelter

The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.

As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
