Nala was found in a Walmart parking lot as a puppy, and has been with my sister ever since. She is very loyal and affectionate, and under normal circumstances would never leave her family.
There is a new baby in the family, and tragically the father has passed unexpectedly. This leaves the mom with few options, and unfortunately nobody in the family can take Nala in, since she is not good with cats. She would do good in a home with no other pets, however she will warm up to other dogs and would probably enjoy having a friend very much, as well.
We do not know how she does around young kids about 12 and under, so we just don’t recommend it. She does have that prey drive that prevents her from being in a home with cats or other pets like rabbits etc.
Overall, she is such a loving dog, and we are sorry to make this difficult decision. We are looking for a home that is patient and loving, and will treat her very well. Thank you for your consideration.
