My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

--FOSTER PUPDATE--
Enderby A180153
40 lb. spayed female, approx 1 year old

-Going by the name Rowan in her foster home
-Enderby is a bright, affectionate young girl with a whole lot of love to give. She is a medium-to-high-energy pup who loves to zoom around with joy and then happily curl up for cuddles once she’s gotten her wiggles out. She would thrive in a forever home with a fenced-in yard where she can play safely.
-Crate trained and progressing with potty training. She does well in her crate and continues to make steady progress with her potty training.
-May do well with a canine sibling after slow and proper introductions but content as a solo pet too. She enjoys her foster sibling, though the feeling isn’t mutual. (Her foster sibling is a bossy chihuahua.) Enderby is perfectly comfortable being an only dog and would do great as the center of someone’s world.
-Learning her leash manners. She walks decently on a leash and continues to improve with practice.
-Exceptionally gentle around food. Despite coming to us underweight, she shows zero food aggression. You can be right next to her while she eats, and she will simply move aside without any sign of discomfort.
-A total lovebug. She adores giving kisses, snuggling, and following her person from room to room. If she could pet you, she absolutely would.
-Friendly with adults and working on her manners. She hasn’t been around children yet, but she greets adults with happy enthusiasm and is practicing not jumping when excited.
-Belly-rub enthusiast. If you pause mid-rub, she’ll wiggle on her back until you resume—her polite way of asking for more love.
-Playful puppy behavior. She enjoys chewing her toys and, like many young dogs, sometimes investigates things she shouldn’t. She’s learning what’s appropriate and loves to “gum” hands during play—something she’s working on daily. She is eager, playful, and wants to interact.
-Sweet, sensitive, and submissive. She can be timid at times and is startled by loud noises, but her gentle nature shines through in everything she does.
