Meet Penny – A Soft Soul Ready to Bloom

Penny is a beautiful mahogany chihuahua mix, about a year old, with a tender heart and the sweetest eyes. She can be a little timid in new situations or with new people at first, but she warms up quickly—and once she does, her loving personality truly shines.

Penny adores human attention and happily gives kisses when she feels safe and comfortable. She enjoys playing with other dogs and does well with cats, making her a wonderful fit for a multi-pet household. Having another playful dog in the home would be a big confidence boost for her and help her continue to blossom.

She’s crate trained and does best with gentle guidance, patience, and kindness. Penny is looking for someone who isn’t in a rush—someone who wants a loyal companion and will enjoy watching a shy pup grow into a devoted best friend.

You will meet the pet at our thrift store and adoption center in Blue Ridge, GA. We also have adoption events every Sat. (Weather Permitting)

We are a new Rescue to North Georgia but we have been volunteering with a rescue group for 10 years. We are huge animal lovers and enjoy helping animals in need. There is a special satisfaction in saving a dog from a kill shelter and adopting it into the perfect home.
