My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2016 and had 4 cats. I have helped her with caring for them but she had to be moved to assisted living in July of this year. These cats are senior and while I feel terribly guilty for not keeping them all, I have 5 pets of my own and simply don’t have enough bandwidth to give them the care and attention they need. 2 of them need to be rehomed.
