Abigail Adams—affectionately called Abby—is a diluted calico whose soft patchwork of grey, tan, and white makes her look as though she was painted with gentle brushstrokes. As a tiny kitten she endured the removal of a bot fly, leaving her with a slight cross‑eyed gaze that only adds to her charm, and certainly doesn’t slow her down. Abby is famous for her incredibly loud yet irresistibly sweet purr; if you’ve ever seen the original Star Trek episode “The Trouble with Tribbles,” you can imagine exactly the soothing, trilling sound she makes. Quiet, laid‑back, and endlessly affectionate, she brings a calm, comforting presence to anyone lucky enough to share her space. She is very close to her sister, Sybil but it's not necessary for them to be adopted together.

The mission of Percys Angelic Cat Rescue is to rescue cats and kittens in need from homeless or abandoned situations as well as from shelters or private citizens needing support in the Midlands of South Carolina.
We home-foster, while providing veterinary services (spay/neuter surgeries, medical care, immunizations, and microchips), socialization and manage adoption placement to responsible, indoor homes.
We also support stabilized colonies of community cats by providing TNR (trap-neuter-return) services and having a Barn Cat placement program.
We believe that raising awareness through public education and partnering with local shelters, rescue groups, businesses and surrounding communities is a pertinent part of our rescue mission.
