Shyne is a smart, affectionate, and fun-loving dog who is looking for a new home due to housing and time constraints, not because of anything he’s done wrong. He is incredibly loving and cuddly, happy to relax and snuggle just as much as he enjoys playtime, making him a great balance of calm and moderately active. Shyne is very people-oriented—he adores attention, loves belly rubs, and greets both familiar faces and new friends with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. He has lived peacefully with children, including very young kids, and was gentle and patient with them. Shyne does well with other dogs and has happily played with dogs of different breeds and sizes. He is eager to learn, knows many commands, enjoys working for his person, and does well in a crate when needed. A heavy chewer who loves durable toys, Shyne is also great for handling, grooming, and baths, and is overall a happy, goofy, loyal companion who would thrive in a home ready to give him the time, structure.
