My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, good humans. I’m Mango!

When I was pulled from the shelter, I wasn’t exactly at my most handsome. I had a pretty terrible case of demodectic mange, and my skin was not happy. But that didn’t stop the amazing people at The Love Pit from seeing past all that and giving me the second chance I wanted — and deserved.

I went straight to a temporary foster home where I was spoiled in all the right ways. Think medicated baths, the cutest pajamas, and lots of patience and love. Slowly but surely, my skin started feeling better… and my heart did too.

My foster mom says I’m an easy-going guy who enjoys the company of both humans and my foster fur siblings. I think the technical term for me is social butterfly — I love being out and about, and I’ve truly never met a stranger. Friends are everywhere if you ask me.

I’m great on a leash (though I’ll admit, a little critter can get me excited now and then). No worries though — I’m easily corrected and happy to keep moving along. I’m also potty trained, crate trained, and overall, just an all-around good guy.

I’ll be heading to my full-time foster home soon, and I have a feeling they’re going to have even more wonderful things to say about my skin glow-up, my personality, and all the reasons I’m sure to become a TLP adoptable favorite.

Thanks for believing in me. I can’t wait to meet you.
With love,
Mango
