Meet Irene
A few months ago, we welcomed sweet Irene from ACCT Philly. She arrived with a severe skin infection and needed time, care, and patience to heal. Thanks to consistent treatment and lots of love, Irene is finally healthy and ready for a forever home of her own.
Irene is a petite, ~40-lb pit bull, about 1 year old, with the softest velvet coat and the biggest heart. She’s the kind of girl who believes personal space is optional—sit on the couch and she’ll happily scoot in to spoon. Affection is her love language, and she would thrive in a home where her people are around often.
Good with other dogs – she’s done wonderfully with the large male dog in her foster home
Fully vetted – spayed, up to date on yearly vaccines, microchipped, and on preventatives
Extra TLC – she receives an omega supplement with her meals to support her skin after her intake infection
