My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Cayenne — a little, all-black beauty with just a few wispy white strands under my neck and the softest hints of deep gray tabby shading in my fur if you look closely. I’m petite, delicate, and incredibly sweet. I purr easily when I’m pet or held and my fur is so silky. I will be a little cautious at first until trust is built but it won't take long at all. Once I feel safe, I’ll blossom into the affectionate, cuddly lap cat that my foster mama knows and we'll be best friends for life. I love back scratches, cozy naps with my siblings, and curling up in a sunny windowsill or a tall kitty tree.

I love running in and out of our kitty tunnel and chasing around the pom pom and ping pong balls. Wet food is my absolute favorite (din din time is very important!), so you must keep me on that! I’d love to go to my new furever home with one of my brothers or sisters. After all, two kitties are better than one!

I have been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. I will be good with other sweet kitties, calm older children and cat friendly calm doggies with a proper introduction. If you've got the heart and love to share with me, let's see if we can meet.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit based in the Phoenix metro area that rescues and rehabilitates stray, feral, and abandoned animals, primarily kittens and cats. We are strong believers in TNR-Trap, Neuter, Return- for controlling feral cat colonies. We seek to educate and support the humane management of these efforts, and can provide traps and advice for those in need of help.
