My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Lilla is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and will arrive in NJ on 1/24/26.

Meet Lilla — 3-Year-Old Lab/Dachshund Mix Looking for Her Sunshine Forever Home
This sweet, submissive girl loves every person she meets and has the calmest, softest energy. She’s the kind of dog who fits into any home and makes everyone feel loved. Lilla is 30 pounds and a low rider. She just wants to be your cuddle buddy.
✨ Personality:
• Sweet, submissive, and quiet
• Loves everyone she meets
• Calm, easygoing, and happy to just be near you
• Champion sunbather — her favorite place is stretched out in a warm patch of sunlight

Lilla has waited long enough. She is so deserving of a soft bed, a family who adores her, and a safe place to finally exhale. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to bring peace and warmth into your home, Lilla is your girl.

Lilla is up to date on vaccines and is fixed. Her  adoption fee is $450.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

More about this rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
