Geppetto is a little cutie with a big story and an even bigger spirit. He came to us with a severely infected leg injury, and X-rays revealed his leg was also broken. We worked hard to clear the infection and splint his leg in hopes he could keep it, but when the splint couldn’t hold the break in place, it was ultimately decided that an amputation was in his best interest.
Now a three-legged kitten, Geppetto doesn’t let anything slow him down. He hops around like a pro and keeps up with all the fun just fine. He’s sweet, playful, and wonderfully silly, always ready to make you smile. Geppetto is proof that a little extra resilience can come with a whole lot of love, and he’s ready to find a forever home that will adore him just the way he is.

Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.

Come meet our cats and dogs Tuesday through Friday from 1pm to 4pm in our open-concept adoption space! Here, you can sit and spend time with our kitties in a relaxed environment to get to know each personality. We have a meet and greet room for our doggies, so you can spend time with them in a larger space or walk with them outside!
