**1/1/26 UPDATE: This week, Dimples was diagnosed with a potentially serious heart murmur. Although she is very active, this condition could potentially shorten her lifespan. Adopters should be aware that they may have higher vet expenses. Dimples loves to jump, run, and play. Her condition is currently not slowing her down.**
“Dimples the Doodle” arrived in Colorado on December 22nd. She waited for months to make the trip with her sister. The two doodles were surrendered by a breeder in OK. Dimples is very sweet and playful. She has lived her life in outdoor pens and kennels. Dimples is adjusting quickly to living in a home. She just wants to be loved and to have a bed of her own.
Her sister was adopted within 24 hours of arriving in Colorado. Dimples is ready for her forever family too. A dog-friend in her future home will help her settle in more quickly. Now that she has settled in, her foster will give her a bath and give her a little “glow-up” to get her ready for adoption!
Apply for her today.

Over 75% of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. The foster will get in touch to schedule meetings for their foster dog. Meetings will happen in/near their homes since that is where the dog is the most comfortable. We do want you to bring family members (human and dog) to the meeting! Dogs who are currently at our Windsor facility will have meetings there and a volunteer will reach out to schedule those meetings with you. Please be aware that we do not place our dogs on a first come, first served basis, but rather a best-fit placement. Never fear, applications are valid for a year so if the first dog you meet isn't a good fit, we will have plenty of time to find one that is.
