Zuko is 5 yr old gentle, soulful boy who’s finally getting the chance to exhale. Currently in foster, he arrived safely after leaving behind a very difficult past, and he’s already showing everyone just how sweet and resilient he is. This handsome guy settled in right away—he slept through the night, ate with a healthy appetite, and is now decompressing in a calm, comfortable home. He’s incredibly gentle with treats and has an easy, affectionate nature that shines through as he relaxes and feels secure. Zuko is dog-friendly, not cat-friendly, and is up to date on vaccines.
He’s loving the comforts of home life, soaking up human attention, and showing off the softest, sweetest temperament. Zuko is gentle, curious, and enjoys exploring the yard and heading out for walks. He sleeps through the night, eats like a champ, and is already decompressing from the tough chapter he’s finally left behind.
He’s up to date on vaccines, scheduled for neuter in February, and available now as foster to adopt, with adoption finalized after his neuter.

More about this rescue
Pitties and Pals Rescue, Inc. is (a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit). Our mission is to rescue dogs and educate the public. Although our main focus is the bully breed, we are committed to all dogs in need. We believe RESCUE involves a multitude of approaches that includes liberating dogs from at risk situations, whether in a shelter or with an owner in need of assistance. While adoption is always the ultimate goal, we believe transitioning into foster care allows for socialization and training that are key components to a successful placement.
Pitties and Pals volunteers are also committed to changing the negative public perception of the Bully Breed. As such, we welcome opportunities to heighten awareness and enhance education in a public forum through our personal stories and positive experiences.
