If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I adopted Henry from a shelter when he was a kitten, and he’s now about 6 years old. He’s an active, affectionate boy who loves cuddling, being petted, and chatting with his people—he’s very talkative. Snacks and wet food are his favorites and an easy way to win him over.
Over the past few months, Henry has experienced major changes. He lost the other cat we considered his brother, and shortly after, my partner and I separated, meaning he no longer has both of us at home. Henry is a very social cat and has been struggling to adjust. I’ve noticed signs of anxiety as he’s alone more than he’s used to, especially since I work. I’m unable to get another cat, which leaves him feeling lonely.
Henry is incredibly friendly and does best in a home where he can be part of a family and receive plenty of love and attention. He’s a sweet, social, loving cat and a truly good boy. Rehoming him is heartbreaking, but I love him enough to know he deserves a home where he can thrive.
