Meet Posey, an absolutely adorable pup believed to be a Dachshund/Cocker Spaniel mix. She definitely shows her Cocker—and possibly hound—side, with a curious nose that’s almost always to the ground, ready to explore the world around her! 🐾
Posey is approximately 5 months old and currently weighs about 25 lbs. She is as sweet as they come and has done wonderfully with the eight other dogs in her foster home, ranging in size from 15 to 85 lbs. While she has not yet been tested with cats, her young age suggests she may do well with proper introductions.
This happy, social girl is full of love and puppy enthusiasm and would make a wonderful addition to an active, attentive home ready to help her continue learning and growing.

We are a non-breed specific dog rescue group, although we do tend to take in mostly large and extra-large breeds, and especially those in the hunting / sporting groups.
