Zeus has been with our family since he was about 4 months old. He is a sensitive dog who needs an experienced adopter. He shows food guarding behavior and would benefit from structured training. Zeus currently uses wee-wee pads indoors and refuses to pee or poop outside. He is very shy outdoors and lacks confidence in new environments.
He will bark to alert when a door opens or a new person enters the home, but he is typically placed in his crate during these moments to prevent any potential issues. He does not actively engage with other dogs, and his behavior around them is largely untested. With a 2-year-old son and busy schedules, we are unable to give Zeus the focused time and training he needs.
We are seeking a calm, experienced home—ideally without young children—willing to work with a trainer and help Zeus build confidence and structure.
