My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fern is a nice medium size gal that is searching for a new home. I guess she had a home at some point, but she was picked up by one of the nice deputies from the shelter as she roamed in an older neighborhood here in town. When she arrived at the shelter she was given a nice clean dog run, a big bowl of food and a nice comfy bed. Fern has waited her allotted time and is now ready to meet some new people and hopefully find a new home. Fern has all of her vaccinations, she is heartworm negative, she has a microchip, and she has been spayed. Come meet Fern!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
