I need to make an appointment to surrender a cat.
My mother-in-law was just moved to an assisted-living facility in Michigan. She left behind her cat, Mattie. Mattie is approximately 7 years old. He is overweight, but seems to be in very good health, otherwise. He has been an indoor cat since he moved to Texas 3 1/2 years ago but hasn't been vaccinated since. He is good-natured and loves to be petted.
He is currently living alone in an empty apartment. I have been unable to find a home for Mattie. My wife is very allergic to cats. I have asked everyone I know and have posted pictures hoping someone would adopt him. He has been alone in the apartment for three weeks, except for feeding. I have to have him out of the apartment by January 15th, and don't know what to do.
