Ideally, Paine would thrive in a home without small children.
Paine was surrendered by his previous owner and is currently residing in the shelter. As a shy individual, Paine requires time to acclimate to new surroundings and would benefit from a household with another dog and patient owners. Paine is undergoing leash training and has not yet exhibited interest in dog toys. However, he does require a slow feeder bowl to prevent rapid food consumption.
Adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00-3:30 and Saturday from 8:00-11:30. If you have other dogs or children at home, a meet-and-greet is mandatory.

All animals have been spayed or neutered prior to being placed in our adoption area. They have also received routine vaccinations and deworming for hooks and rounds. Dogs are not tested for heartworm. Adoptive owners are responsible for rabies vaccinations on puppies under 4 months old.
