Meet Andy

Andy’s story could have ended very differently—but thanks to a compassionate Belle’s Buds Rescue foster, it didn’t.

On Monday, December 29, as temperatures dropped into the 30s, Andy was found alone in an abandoned field behind a barbed wire fence. A neighbor posted about him, and a dedicated Belle’s Buds Rescue foster couldn’t ignore her heart. She refused to let him face the freezing cold alone and brought him to safety.

Now, Andy is warm, loved, and thriving

About Andy:
• Male tan Chihuahua
• 11 pounds
• Estimated 2 years old
• Loves being held
• Enjoys playing fetch
• Crate trained & potty trained
• Friendly with all people and other dogs
• Has the most adorable, expressive ears

Andy’s ideal home:
Andy would do best with a family familiar with the Chihuahua breed—or someone who truly loves a dog to dote on and spoil. He craves closeness and reassurance and can be vocal when he wants comfort or connection. 

One thing is certain: Andy is a professional cuddler. Blankets are his happy place, and if you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who wants to snuggle up and be near you, Andy is your guy.
