Oliver is about 3 years old +/-. I saw him outside in my neighborhood in distressed &hungry. For a few months I brought him food, water and shelter outside. He injured his paw so I took him to the vet brought him into my basement to recover. I didn’t intend to keep him since I already had a dog and 2 rescue cats, but I was unable to find him a home. He’s been with me for about a year.
My heart is heavy with the thought of rehoming him but he isn’t safe in my home because my 2 cats bully & attack him. All 3 are indoor/outdoor. Both of my cats have aggressively attacked him. The most recent attack resulted in a puncture wound that became infected. If he stays here he will continue to get hurt. Oliver craves human attention, which he is not getting enough of. He stays in my basement and repeatedly paws at the cat door from the basement seeking attention. I fear he will break it and be exposed to my cats.
Oliver loves people, loves to snuggle, and to play with toys. He’s a sweetie.
