So my name is Diamond, which we all know is an END product of extreme pressure and raw materials.... and I think my name reflect me pretty accurately!
I was found by my "owner" many years ago, but was abandoned by him when he broke up with his girlfriend and she inherited me..to put it nicely.....
THEN, she couldn't keep me and I came to the rescue.....
I am 6 yrs old but my eternal puppy face" can be misleading. However, I play like a puppy and am GREAT with other dogs! I am a gentle and happy girl who deserves my own family again!
I have an OLD injury from my days on the streets, my back leg was xrayed and determined it is old injury and I take glucosamine for joint health.
I am a fluffy, puppy faced sweetheart! DON'T PASS ME UP!

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

Adoption application required for dogs. However, because it stresses cats to be confined and transported with dogs long distances, we do not transport our cats. They are local to Texas only. Thank you.
Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
