I adopted Lucas when he was five months old and he has now just turned 10 years old.
I love him so much and because of my love for him, I know that it is time for him to find a much better owner - someone experienced and disciplined, willing to work with him til the end of his days.
My Lucas is a really good boy - smart, quick on obedience training and is crate trained, “bilingual” (Spanish and English commands), and is food motivated. However, he unfortunately has fear-based aggression issues with a history of badly biting (toes have been fractured) all the members of his family, including me, his owner.
As such, I am looking to find someone who is highly experienced with dogs, especially ones with behavior issues and who is willing to put in the time and energy into teaching and fortifying their bond with Lucas.
Please don’t let my honesty scare you away, he really is a good boy.
