My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Butterscotch — A Soft, Sweet Treat of a Kitty!

Just like his name, Butterscotch is gentle, sweet, and best enjoyed slowly. This very shy but incredibly sweet boy is searching for a quiet, indoor-only home where he can take his time settling in and learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all.

Butterscotch does well with quiet, respectful teens who understand cat boundaries and are happy to let him come to them when he’s ready. His feelings about other animals are still a mystery, so a calm, low-traffic home would be ideal while he builds confidence.

To help Butterscotch feel safe and cozy, his dream home includes:
Plenty of comfy hiding and napping spots for peaceful cat naps
Tons of toys, especially catnip and interactive ones to gently encourage play
Cat trees & scratching posts for stretching and confidence-building perches
Window perches for quiet birdwatching and daydreaming
Treats, wet food, and catnip — the fastest way to his heart

With patience, kindness, and a calm environment, Butterscotch will slowly blossom into the sweetest little companion, offering soft purrs, shy head boops, and all the cozy vibes you could ask for.
