Tom’s life didn’t start out like a cartoon comedy — it started with uncertainty, survival, and learning how to trust. Despite everything he’s been through, Tom is a gentle, loving soul who just wants what every dog deserves: safety, comfort, and someone to call his own.
Tom is the quieter half of the duo. He’s observant, thoughtful, and happiest when he’s close to his people. Once he trusts you, he leans in hard — for affection, reassurance, and love. He enjoys soft beds, calm environments, and knowing he’s finally safe.
He does well with other dogs, especially his buddy Jerry(who’s already been adopted), but Tom would also thrive as a cherished solo pup soaking up one-on-one attention. He’s learning what it means to be a pet — not just a survivor — and he’s doing amazing.
Tom isn’t looking for perfection. He’s looking for patience, kindness, and a family who understands that the best dogs are often the ones who’ve had to overcome the most.

Our potential pet parents will go through a series of interviews. Reference checks and video call with foster of the pet will be required.

Most of our adoptions are out of state, adopter must meet transport at scheduled time.

We are very thorough with our adoption process, we make sure the adoption is right for the dog not just the potential adopter to ensure a successful adoption.
