If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We wanted a dog and my husband unknowingly got a GSP instead of a Labrador not knowing the difference in personality and needs. Paco is only a year old. He comes from a line of hunting dogs so has a ton of energy. We don’t have time to walk him everyday so he is in the backyard most of the day and he needs a dog companion or human attention. We have little kids and he jumps because he is excited but is not aggressive at all. He;s very obedient and smart just don’t have the time to give him training he needs to be calm inside. He has a lot of potential but we can’t afford to board train him and feel bad he isn’t ;t living to his full potential. He;d do well in a home with other dogs or kids who want to play often.
