My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet our brave little miracle boy!

At such a young age, this sweet black kitten has already been through more than most. Due to cat herpes and calicivirus as a baby, his eyes didn’t properly form and healed themselves shut, giving him a look that is truly one-of-a-kind. His eyes may look a little different, but they only add to his charm and never slow him down one bit.

He is black with delicate white hairs sprinkled across his belly, making it look like a galaxy of stars—and his personality shines just as brightly. He is a favorite of the CATsNAP medical team, who cheered him on through his fight with calicivirus. He fought hard, he made it, and now he’s ready for the happy ending he deserves.

This playful little man loves jingle bell toys and tiny mouse toys, and you’ll often find him zooming around the room on a big “hunt.” When playtime is over, he turns into a total love bug. He adores being held, batting at sweatshirt strings, and then settling into your arms where he’ll purr himself to sleep.

He is considered a special needs kitty, but his care is simple. He just needs lysine and probiotics twice a day, which he happily eats when mixed into wet food—no fuss at all.

Despite everything he’s been through, he is full of joy, affection, and curiosity, and he’s more than ready to play alongside the big cats and become someone’s forever companion.
Please give this special little guy a chance. He truly is a survivor with a heart full of love, just waiting to go home with you.

Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!

If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.

We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.

Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.

All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:
  • Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus
  • Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age)
  • Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
  • Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment
  • Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions
  • Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
