🏡 Ideal Home: Haven is currently looking for employment in an active home, working dog, needs stimulation, toys, puzzles. Haven_ is seeking a family with prior experience with working dogs; her instincts are spot-on.
🐕 Compatibility: Haven gets along well (dogs, cats, children, etc), keeping in mind she is puppy. Loves to play with other dogs, respects cats.
👂 Special Needs: ANYTHING & EVRYTHING goes right in her mouth, (again...a puppy.) She had emergency surgery to remove necrotic parts of her gut so she is continuing to heal.
✂️ Grooming: regular brushing, occasional baths.
🐾 Training: She responds to her name, knows come, sit & paw. Learning "take it nice." Needs training to be a "Good Citizen."

This includes taking considerable care in finding perfect matches and educating potential adopters about the responsibilities of bringing a dog, especially that particular dog, into their life. Applications may take several days to process and you may not hear from a UU Board member for up to a few weeks at most.

Unforgettable Underdogs Dog Rescue is a volunteer run non-profit and no-kill dog rescue serving Northeast Wisconsin. We are dedicated to rescuing the underdogs, those who have found themselves homeless. We strive to help dogs in public high-kill shelters, abandoned or dogs being abused or neglected.
Dogs we care for are spayed or neutered, treated for any medical needs they have, and placed into loving foster homes until they find their permanent home. We aim to help dogs in need without discriminating against age or breed as space in foster homes permit. As our finances allow, we aim to take on the most underdog of the cases and help dogs in the most need.
