Meet Nevis — affection in kitten form!
This adorable 5½-month-old brown tabby boy is all about love and connection. Nevis happily weaves around your legs, sprinkles in sweet kitty kisses, and soaks up every head rub and cuddle you offer. He’s a true snugglebug and purrs the instant he’s picked up.
Nevis has a medium, playful energy that’s sure to shine even more once he’s settled into his forever home. When he’s not playing, he’s content being your shadow, keeping you company wherever you go. His rich, dark tabby stripes are stunning, and his super-soft fur makes cuddle time irresistible.
Nevis would thrive with another young kitty playmate, but he could also be happy as a solo cat in a home where someone works from home most days and can give him plenty of attention and interactive play. Sweet, snuggly, and full of charm—Nevis is ready to steal your heart. Microchipped. Meet him in Falls Church, VA. Posted 1/2/26

We strive to make the "purr-fect" match through our interview and application process. Adoption fees, which range from $165-$185, include all medical work (FELV/FIV testing, shots; spay/neuter, etc); home visits may be required prior to final placement. The majority of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs or as a companion to another young cat/kitten already in the home. Sorry, but we do not adopt very young kittens to families with children under 6 yrs old due to safety concerns for both child and kitten. Adopters also receive a certificate for a free comprehensive wellness exam at any Caring Hands Animal Hospital.

More about this rescue
We are a small, private feline-only rescue group dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of homeless cats and kittens. We do not have a shelter and rely on a group of dedicated foster homes to care for our felines until a "fur-ever" home can be found. We actively promote the importance of spaying and neutering and best practices in companion animal care. The majority of our cats/kittens come from high-kill shelters. We do not receive any government funding and rely on private contributions, 100% of which go to provide medical care, food and supplies.
