ALWAYS HAPPY AND EASY GOING. WILL THRIVE IN A HOME THAT IS FAIRLY CALM AND FILLED WITH LOVE. LOTS OF NICE PEOPLE WOULD BE OKAY TOO. GOOD WITH ALL AGES IF THEY`RE GENTLE, BUT BEST WITH KIDS OVER 5 YRS. OKAY AROUND OTHER SWEET CATS ONCE ACQUAINTED. NO DOGS. I`m one of the sweetest guys you`ll ever meet! Age is just a number, and I can`t count! So you`ll see that my personality is adorable and loving, and I`m pretty active. I`m obviously not feeling any older yet! I adore people and love hanging around with them. I`m not shy at all around anyone, and always ready to show some love! I`ll often be right at your feet when I see you! I like snuggling on the furniture with you, and don`t be surprised when I come up and give you a nose boop! I don`t mind being picked up to move or carry around a little, or just for a little cuddle. Sometimes I`ll crawl right on up to your back and lay down across your shoulders as you stand to get something done or walk around! I`m usually ready to get down in a few minutes. I enjoy snooping around the house and inspecting anything new. You`re sure to love how my tail comes forward over my back, sometimes getting poofy, showing my curiosity has peaked. I`m so happy when I`m climbing to sit up high somewhere! A cat tree will be necessary, two or three around the house would be even better, and well used! I like switching places often and will find a few different spots I can climb to sit. Don`t worry, I`ll always hurry down if you want to see me, and usually just because you came into the room! Sometimes I`ll stop to play with the motion activated toy moving under a sheet, from Amazon, or toss around one of my little toys, probably more once I`m settled in. I love when you bring out our wand toys to play with, especially when they`re flying around to catch! I`m used to having a sweet much younger cat roommate. We get along very well, but I like having a little space. I`m not big on being snuggle buddies. I`ll just need a little while to get to know and trust another nice cat. I may hiss and growl to set my boundaries, but I won`t be mean. I love cat treats, eat dry food and like wet food, but I am a little picky with canned food. Still, I`m the perfect pet and sweetest companion. It will seem like we`ve known each other forever!

The Colony Animal Services strives to protect andTCAS LOGO-UPDATED nurture The City of The Colony’s lost, homeless, abused, injured, and sick pets. We seek to provide animals the opportunity to be reclaimed, adopted, rehabilitated, or rescued. It is the mission for the Animal Service Officers and volunteers to pursue a positive synergy and to serve the citizens and pets of The Colony.
Animal Services is committed to saving each and every animal that comes into our care. Over the last few years, we have improved our live release rate to 97%. We hold our standards high at keeping this percentage, and in doing so, we ask our rescue partners and citizens to help us pursue finding our animals forever homes.
Every year, we get over a hundred injured and sick animals that need our help. In order for us to help them, we use our donated medical fund to give them the proper care and treatment they need. The only way for us to provide this needed medical care is through our generous financial donors. Every penny donated is sent to our medical fund. Please help us continue this much needed medical care for our animals by donating. Even if you cannot donate, it is a huge help to share posts on social media.
