My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sparkly Girl had her very own family for TEN years when they decided they could no longer keep her....TEN years! We cannot comprehend this but she is a Purrfect Friends cat and we will always take our babies back.

It took a bit for her to adjust - and who can blame her? She was a bit of a grouch....but she is so pleasant now! She has a funny way of holding her tail over her back - it is so cute! We got her up to date on her vaccines and did full bloodwork...she is a-ok! Now she just needs her own human that will commit to her for the rest of her life. She deserves it! I mean look at that cute face! She can be a little spicy and opinionated....she chooses her humans - we respect that!

Purrfect Friends, established in 2005, is a volunteer-run, nonprofit 501c3 organization. With over 5,600 cats adopted, we work to combat cat overpopulation and suffering in the Cincinnati area. There is no shortage of cats and kittens in need of homes! Our efforts include rescuing cats in need, assisting with spaying and neutering, providing high quality medical care, and supporting Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) initiatives. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership.
We Are A No Kill foster-based Rescue
We have no physical location – all of our cats live in our dedicated volunteers’ homes. We are passionate about making the best possible match for adopters and the cats and kittens in our care. Purrfect Friends has a special commitment to mom cats – when we help with kittens, we help the moms too! Members of our “No moms left behind club” are fully vetted and incorporated into our foster program until their loving homes are found.
