My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home.

Here's what you need to know about me:

I'm super energetic! I can get extra excited during playtime because I'm just so happy, but after the fun, I enjoy relaxing with a long-lasting chew. If you're looking for a playful, enthusiastic companion, I might be your girl!

I can be nervous around new people, but if you have a ball and some treats, we'll become best friends real fast! It just takes me a little while to get comfortable. But treats definitely win me over, and once I get to know you, I'm very loving.

I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.

I have some handling sensitivity. That means I have some preferences about how and where I get petted. My human friends at the shelter can tell you more!

I would love a family experienced with working breeds or willing to learn. I have some behaviors and preferences that are typical of dogs with a working temperament and would thrive with a family who understands those needs.

I'm not on the general adoption floor. You might not see me when you come to visit. So please speak to an adoption counselor if you'd like to meet me.

I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please speak to an adoption counselor.
