My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Burke! 🐾

Burke is a male short-haired gray tabby with sweet white paws and an incredibly loving heart. He’s a true lovebug who adores affection and bonds deeply with his people once he feels safe.

Burke does need a little time to adjust to new surroundings. New spaces can feel overwhelming at first, and he prefers the comfort of familiar, cozy areas while he builds trust. With patience and a calm home, his affectionate personality really shines through. Once he feels secure, Burke is all about love, cuddles, and staying close to his humans.

Burke would do best with someone who understands that some cats just need a gentle transition and a little extra reassurance. In return, you’ll gain a devoted, sweet companion who truly wants to be near you.

🐱💙 If you’re willing to give Burke the time he needs to settle in, he’ll reward you with endless love.

We do not adopt to anyone that has any intentions of doing a declaw surgery. We deem this as inhumane and very harmful to the cats.

More about this rescue

We obtained our 501(c)(3) two years ago, but I – Char started rescuing four years ago. With Sharon’s help we were able to take in several cats and kittens the first year to be vetted, fixed and adopted. Three years ago Debbie volunteered to help me with TNR program for MGCHS. After Debbie and I teamed up on the TNR program our collection of cats has escalated. Between the 3 of us and with the help from our volunteers and donations we seem to be able take care of all their needs.
