Acquired Snuggles from a friend who had to move. She was 6 at the time and I’ve had her for 6 years.
Everything was great until July of 2025. When we went to give birth she got into the trash and we noticed a lot of problems to we took her to the vet. Then they told us she was diabetic and required insulin for the rest of her life and also had cataracts in both eyes. The more we visit the vet, the more problems came up. She also has a level 4 heart murmur which stops her from getting certain procedures that they recommend such as eye surgery.
It’s hard for us as we have a newborn, both parents work and she’s home for a few hrs by herself We don’t want to give her up but I know it’s for the best that we find her a new home with someone that can give her the care and attention she requires.
