We got Ella as a puppy after a college student (also named Ella, whom we later named her after) rescued her and a littermate from a neglectful situation. The original owner had let them run loose and told her to “just take them.” She posted the puppies on Facebook, and that’s how Ella joined our family.
Ella is a smart, loyal dog who forms deep bonds once she feels safe. After warming up, she is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. She has completed formal training, is fully potty trained, and is up to date on all vaccinations.
As Ella has matured, we’ve learned she thrives best in a calm, structured environment. Due to her protective nature, she would do best in a home without small children and without another dominant dog. With consistent guidance and continued training, she has so much love to give.
This decision comes from wanting what is best for her, and we hope to find a patient, loving home where Ella can truly flourish.
