I’ve got a playful side and enjoy getting my energy out, but I also know how to settle down and enjoy quiet moments.
Borrow a Buddy Notes: We went to Katy Trail, and she loved sniffing around and running with us. We also took her to Petsmart, picked out some treats, and let her smell them to choose her favorite. She liked one treat more than the others, so we bought it for her. Then we went to Starbucks to get her a pup cup. She hesitated to get into the car at first, but after that she did really well getting in and riding with us. She put her paws on my legs and kept showing me affection. Thanks to her for making my day :)

To adopt a pet from the SPCA of Texas, we not only help make love connections, but we then walk you through an adoption process that is geared to ensuring you and the pet are a great match. There is a contract to sign at the end of the process. Adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies 0-6 months: $150
Adult dogs 6 months or older: $75

The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations (which can include Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza and Bordetella), spay/neuter surgery, deworming treatment, initial heartworm preventative, a rabies tag, Free health examination within fourteen days of the adoption thanks to our partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, a leash and a microchip. Dogs over 6 months of age are also given a heartworm test (SNAP occult). Free week of training through Good Pup.
Kittens: $150
Cats: $75
