My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ziggy, a 1-year-old snuggly terrier mix with a heart full of love for her favorite people!

Ziggy might take a moment to warm up to new friends, but once she does, she transforms into the ultimate snuggle bug and lap dog. At times she needs a little space to acclimate and may do better with older kids. She adores being petted and curling up right next to her person for cozy downtime.

On walks, Ziggy is a true “sniffari” enthusiast—she loves to zigzag and explore every scent along the way. She’s still getting the hang of leash manners, but she’s making progress. She does well with other pups but needs time and a slow introduction.

If you’re looking for a devoted little companion who will choose you as her person and shower you with affection, Ziggy could be your perfect match!

Additional adoption info

Please visit www.hopeanimals.org/adopt to learn more about our adoption process and to complete an adoption application.

Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter*, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, and current heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

*If pet is not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, a $50.00 credit will be paid to your vet at the time of surgery.

We require a veterinary reference for current pet owners, and pets must be up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventative. We meet potential adopters in their homes and introduce the pets to the family's current pets to see if it is a good match. A copy of our adoption contract can be requested via email.
