Meet Milla, a smart and friendly canine who loves affection and cuddles. Her curious nature makes her an excellent companion for explorations, though her nervousness shows her need for a patient and understanding owner. Milla weighs 37 pounds and is leash-trained with a little pulling and loves to check out everything in her surroundings, always eager to learn and experience new things. She`s stubborn and so nosey that when she finds something interesting you may have a hard time getting her to move along. She might know about house training but please give her time to adjust to a new environment. Her finder said she knows tricks likes sit and `up up.` She doesn`t like cats but she thrives in the company of other dogs and teenagers. However, she`ll need to live with kids at least 15 years old because of her self-protective nature. It is just a sign of her desire for a safe and loving home. Pet Adoption Fees
CAP adoption fees include a variety of services - age-appropriate vaccinations, canine heartworm, and feline leukemia tests, spaying/neutering, deworming treatment, microchipping to name a few - the total value of which exceeds $450. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering.

CAP is proud to announce that through life-saving adoption and transfer programs and a lot of hard work, we have maintained a placement rate of over 93% for all homeless pets surrendered to our shelter in 2021.
